John Thomsen is a graduate of New Jersey Institute of Technology with a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering.
John started his career in the mid 1980's designing and configuring control systems for industrial process ovens. John's responsibilities later grew to include cost analysis of the controls, computerized inventory control, purchasing, and production management. In January of 1990, John switched his focus from engineering to computer administration.
John's early computer experience included designing, building, and maintaining relational databases on UNIX operating systems from SCO and Hewlett-Packard. In 1995, he began working as a network administrator for a large network consisting of Sun Microsystems workstations and servers, Novell NetWare, and Microsoft Windows clients. This later led to a focus on Microsoft Windows operating systems. John later extended his expertise to include network infrastructure design and management.

John is 49 years old, married with two children. John enjoys his free time by studying the latest in IT solutions, and by spending time with his family, especially with his two boys’ baseball teams.
