Jim has made a life-long journey in technology, beginning with his father giving him a subscription to Popular Electronics in 1966, at 6 years old. He began as an electronic technician when just 16, having a small staff at 18. Immediately upon graduation from NJIT with a BSEE (concentration on communications theory, graduate studies toward MSEE), Jim has worked in engineering, management, and business positions. His executive skill set includes:
- Engineering Management (project management, personnel management, product concepts & proposals)
- Engineering (systems engineering, electronic circuit design, software design)
- Information Systems (strategy, implementation, management)
- Product Management (product strategy, product structure, ISO-compliant procedures)
- Marketing and Sales (large direct & OEM customers, new product development, negotiating & closing)
- Product Configuration (implementing product structures onto ERP systems)

A New Jersey native, Jim has worked on both coasts in a variety of positions at diverse companies, ranging from very small to one of the world’s largest at:

- RCA/Astro-Electronics Division
- Gilsonite Music Industries, starting off as a technician in high school
Jim is 49 years old, married with one son. He is a musician, playing drums and singing (often at the same time) and dabbling in songwriting. Jim decided to channel his long experience in Corporate America into this business as well as a forthcoming management book that he "always wanted to write".
